The Annapurna International School of Film and Media believes obtaining a BA is a critical part the education of any student aspiring to a career in media. Why? Because a Bachelor’s of Arts is a fundamental grounding in varying aspects of culture and society, including religion, psychology, philosophy, literature, math and economics. Lessons in all these areas enrich the student’s life, both professionally and personally, and help the student fulfill their potential no matter what track in media their life takes them on.
But a Bachelor’s of Arts is also a ticket. It opens doors anywhere in the world. Want to go on to graduate school? You better have your BA under your belt, or you can’t even apply. Want to pursue a career at the top echelons of the business world? Again, you better have the degree on your resume or you don’t even get in the door.
The Annapurna International School of Film and Media is a first of its kind in India. It combines a rigorous and internationally recognized BA program with intense training in specific areas of media — producing, directing, animation, editing, cinematography and acting for now; graphic design, news, sound recording, writing, and many other areas later.
